Coverage

At our core we are product developers. This is what we do for a living. So it is very important to us that all of our products provide best of breed coverage for our customers. Our products include cover for both traditional and emerging risks and we have a demonstrable track record of innovation and are regularly the first to market with new coverage concepts.

Clarity

We believe that an insurance policy should provide as clear and unambiguous risk transfer as possible. So we've written our policies in plain, easy-to-understand English to make it as obvious as possible what is covered and what isn't. We also believe that any insurance policy that is longer than 20 pages is highly unlikely to be clear and user friendly, and find it astounding that our industry still insists on producing insurance policies over 150 pages long.

Customer focus

We have a dedicated product development team that builds products that are very specific to niche industries and professions. This means that all aspects of the policy, from the professional indemnity to the property and the business interruption cover, are highly tailored for the customer. Surprisingly, this makes us almost unique in our markets.

We believe that most small businesses want all the protection that they need to be provided by one seamless policy, with no duplication or holes in cover. So our products typically blend all potential coverages on a modular basis so that our customers can easily choose what coverages to purchase.

Even though we sell our products in many countries around the world, the products are highly tailored for each region with local regulation, legislation, language and custom all being respected. All of our products are also regularly reviewed and enhanced to ensure that they keep up with any changes to the law and regulations and stay relevant to our customers.
