Nigel will be responsible for developing new products and creating all the necessarily materials to support their launch, in addition to monitoring and updating the existing suite of products.

Given that a key specialism is our focus on new emerging professions, particularly media and technology, it’s vital that our policies continually evolve to keep pace with the changing risk landscape. This is a rare quality and something for which insurers are not generally renowned – I’ve even heard of one insurer who still has a reference to the millennium bug in its wordings.

“We have created this new role to make sure we keep our foot firmly on the product development accelerator and make sure there are no bugs in our wordings! Nigel brings a wealth of experience to the team and I am confident that he will help ensure we bring a strong pipeline of new products to market over the coming months.”

Nigel joins the business from Arthur J Gallagher where he was technical director for the financial and professional risk team.  Prior to joining Arthur J Gallagher in 2005, he spent 15 years in the life insurance market.
