Click for Cover rebrands as CFC Underwriting
Specialist Lloyd's underwriting agency, Click for Cover, today announced that it has changed its name to CFC Underwriting with immediate effect.
Managing Director of CFC, David Walsh, comments, "The core of CFC remains the underwriting of technology risks but we are broadening our operations to become a specialist underwriter for other niche lines of business. As a result we have outgrown our original brand and it is the right time to reflect this broader underwriting capability in our name."
The first step CFC has taken to broaden its capability is to recruit Andy Holmes and Jonathan Swann - formerly of Syndicate 1047 - to develop innovative insurance products in niche professional indemnity and general liability areas.
Jonathan Swann was the active underwriter at Syndicate 1047 and has over 15 years experience writing an international professional indemnity book. Andy Holmes was line underwriter at Syndicate 1047 with over 10 years experience.
Swann comments, "CFC already has a strong reputation for delivering outstanding products and service levels to brokers. It has recognised that there is a lack of capacity in the UK liability market and has plans to take its way of doing things into that line of business. Andy and I are delighted to join the CFC team to head up that initiative."
Eleven Lloyd's Syndicates now back CFC Underwriting.
