CFC picks up two at the 2020 Advisen Cyber Risk Awards
Although we missed the excitement and glamour of meeting our industry colleagues in New York, the CFC cyber team still had a great time celebrating at the virtual awards.
Who said that digital events can't be fun? If quarantine has taught us anything, it's that with a mojito in hand, they definitely can be and the 2020 Advisen Cyber Risk Awards was no exception. From our separate homes, our cyber team met virtually with cocktails at the ready to watch the event together and had a blast right into the wee hours of the morning.
What's more, we were enormously proud to have two of our cyber colleagues take home awards on the night. Chief Innovation Officer Graeme Newman nabbed Industry Person of the Year - London for the fourth time in five years! And our new Executive Vice President at our New York office, Shannon Groeber, was crowned Cyber Risk Champion of the Year, a title which is accompanied by an invitation to join Advisen's Cyber Commission. Congrats to both - we're beyond privileged to have you on our team!
Of course CFC's usual slot as after party sponsor lacked the luster of the live event, but we hope that those attending managed to squeeze in a little boogie in the privacy of their own homes. Keep practicing those moves as we expect to see them in full force at what we hope is a live event next year!
