Katherine Nellums - Marketing Director, CFC
CFC’s Marketing Director Katherine Nellums will explore the role that marketing plays in specialty insurance. She’ll challenge the old school notion that marketing is only about branding and email blasts, but instead a critical driver for business success that needs to be in lock-step with underwriting and sales. She’ll share how CFC leverages marketing to enable brokers, engage customers and deliver value to partners up and down the chain.
Steven Levitt - American economist and New York Times bestselling author
Applying his successful Freakonomics ideas to the world of insurance, Steve will entertain and inspire the audience with his trademark blend of captivating storytelling and unconventional analysis. He'll get us thinking a bit more productively, more creatively, more rationally - like a Freak - about our chosen field.
James Burns - Head of Cyber
CFC's Head of Cyber, James Burns, will explain the evolution of cyber from a standard insurance policy (where the battleground was coverage), to Cyber 2.0 with basic scanning, dodgy risk reports and vulnerability management, and now a full-featured service with proactive protection at its core.
Tom Bennett - Cyber Threat Analysis Team Leader
Incident response is often necessary, but how about preventing cyber events before they happen? Tom Bennett of CFC’s Cyber Threat Analysis team will discuss how real cyber attacks work, and the sophisticated combination of tools, techniques and intelligence we use to keep our customers one step ahead of the hackers.
Graeme Newman - CEO, James Burns - Head of Cyber, Lindsey Nelson - Cyber Development Leader and Philippa Berry - Cyber Product Leader, CFC
With cyber at the top of everyone's agenda, we've brought together CFC's own brain trust of cyber gurus to answer your burning questions. From the hard market to ransomware and even systemic risk, use this time to ask them anything. The tougher the question, the better!
